We are in Luxor at the moment and heading south today (9/11/12) to Aswan. We are hoping to get the ferry in the next week however have not booked anything yet. If anyone is around then it would be great to get in touch.

We are also looking to head through Egypt this week to Aswan but are a little behind you (and will be travelling slower.) If you manage to find a fixer to help you book your boat then please could you let us know as we are trying to get something booked. We would probably be looking to get on a boat on the Monday the 19th we think- although still waiting for our vehicle in Alexandria!
