Thinking to buy a reasonably new diesel TLC in Europe and drive it through Mori, Mali, Niger and sell it. How much would one in great shape cost, and which european countries should I consider looking in? UK? France? Belgium?

A reasonably new diesel TLC in Europe will cost £8000 +. Add half as much again for one in great shape. They are much more common in France than the UK.

For less than you think and with a free shafting unless you know the ropes.

In Mali or Niger it's much easier for them to steal them from NGOs, etc.
In Agadez (for example) they prefer (or can afford) the older 60 & 61s, engines. springs, etc. (up to 1990). Fill the car our with stuff to sell if you are serious anout making money.
