entry to morocco

Travelling to morocco at the end of the month and I have one concern about entry through ceuta..

Just noticed on my V5 that the colour is still listed as green / cream although i've painted it multi-coloured (being a muppet i forgot to change the log book). After hearing horror stories of entry hassles I wonder if this discrepancy will delay me on entry (or, indeed, if i get stopped by the police at any other point)?

DVLA say its too late to get it changed, but there is a temporary (hand written) document i can get that's designed for travelling abroad, does anyone know if thisd alternative document will be recognised by the officials?

Cheers,
George

Don't worry. They'll be too busy filling forms in to worry about the colour (or reg) of your bike.

its not actually a bike but a series landie, and quite noticible!

does your encouraging advice still apply?

Don´t worry. Ceuta is a complicated, but relaxed border. There is always something missing, but you always pass through. Try to have the papers as actuzlized as possible, and then, let it roll.

This handwritten document you are talking about would certainly be recognised. It is a 1 sheet document which looks very official and serious and I doubt you would have any problem with it. It is valid 1 year from date of issue. There is a fee of +/- 5 to 10 £ if I remember well and you can get it immediately from any DVLA office (not a post office...).
Good luck !
