east and west on gps...
Simple question but I assume that I have to use a - sign when inputting longitude data from a computer to make sure i get to the west of 0 degrees...? otherwise I assume the gps will assume that it is to the east of the meridian.?
Thanks Also in gps forum but this one is seen first... ------------------ pigapicha |

Hi,
At least if you Ozyexplorer for managing your waypoints you should add - to locations west of 0 degrees. For other softwares I do not know. Cheers, José
