Djanet -> Ghat
 

From Chris' website:
"The crossing from Ghat to Djanet is now open (tho not the other way)"

Is this still current or have people in the recent past succesfully negotiated this crossing the other way, i.e. Djanet -> Ghat?

Hmm, actually both directions seem impossible for tourists, Djanet -> Ghat anyway!

Sorry I had missed the other post on this topic.

I had tried the search function but not gone through all the links. The problem with the search function on this site is that you easily get 10 hits on a search string like "Djanet Ghat" but you can't see how recent the results are. Would there be a way to add this functionality?
