also there

We head there, too. 2 LR Disco2 and 7 fair-skinned persons, hopefully not subject of easy kidnapping. 29th Dec in Dakhla, 5th Jan in Bamako, if Mauri pass via Kiffa/Kayes OK. Any news from Burkina and Guinea Conakry north? Passable without fatality?

spent three months in Fouta Djallon this spring/summer. No probs at all, but after that there was an assassination attempt on the president and before that there were democritic elections and quite a lot of unrest ... towns in the gold belt (NE of the country) tend to be a little rough ... a long way from fatalities tough

Kiffa - Kayes is a great ride and easy ride, very calm

looks like there will be a bunch of fair skinned ones in Tbtoo ... the local chasse touristes are ecstatic
