Lucky dogs to have been able to experience that scenery!
There are some pretty amazing formations in Southern Algeria as well...

What a fabulous looking place, my hat off to these people for getting there. Does anybody know what access to Chad is like now? I only know one person who has crossed it on a motorbike and that was in the 1980s.

Ennedi is easy to visit. Just book a tour with Spazi (www.spazidavventura.com), like the climbers did. Or with Tchad Evasion.

Back when I was still climbing-nuts they had an article in 'On the Edge' magazine with Jerry Moffat climbing the boulders painted by some French artist (sorry, couldn't be arsed to google it).

It looked pretty mental as backdrops go!

This looks spectacular, ah if only I was 5 year younger.

I read that they had a standoff with some bandits -but it all ended well!

Whatever way you look at it, awsome trip!
