Can someone refer a tour operator for Lybia?

Hi!

I am in Egypt at the moment and would like to cross into Lybia soon.

Does someone on the forum has the name of a good tour operator I could contact to get the visa/guide sorted?

Thanks!

Christian

Hi Christian,

I can recommend the guide that I used this year, he has his own company but also is subcontractor for well known Fessano Tours.

Ebrahim Ahmad Alarabi

Phone: +218 925427992 or +218 913653268
Mail: info@alarabitour.com or go to K-W: viaggi nel deserto - libia - tour - fuoristrada

The guide is truly great desert guide. He is located in Ghadames but is cruising round Libya all the time.

Cheers

Jarek

I recommed you this guy, a long time friend of mine, is called Ali Degga and lives in Ghat but he can come anywhere you need, very cheap, you'll be not disappointed. Tell him you've got his contact from Renato (Italy):

Met some South Africans who got a 2 week transit visa which allowed them to travel across Libya without a guide. They didn't restrict themselves to just the east-west coastal road, but snuck off into the desert for some side tours -never got stopped once! Obviously worked out much cheaper! Worth considering?
