Can anyone recommend expedition outfitters in southern Engla
 

I am currently outfitting my Defender 110 for its first trip down through Morocco to the fringe of the Sahara. Can anyone recommend a good company to do some of the work...kit like raised air intake, compressor, split charge systems, etc?

This is a fairly standard order for LR kit, so ostensibly any independent Landrover specialist can supply and fit such items. Keith Gott claims long standing expertise in expedition vehicles, so does Foley Specialist Vehicles. But I'm not sure about the prices they charge. You may also try Brownchurch in East London, who seems to enjoy good reputation.

Depends how you classify Southern England.

Gumtree 4x4 in mid Sussex do all the work on my vehicle and they really understand what it’s all about. Contact John Bowden on 01444-241457.

I can also recommend FOOTLOOSE4X4 near Peterborough (though in my book that’s up North). Contact Paul Marsh on 01780-784781 or 07710-261168.

You could also try Conrico International in Chertsey (Surrey). I don’t have any personal experience with them. Tel 01932-567032.
