Camping Gaz in Khartoum
 

Anyone know if small Camping Gaz bottles, for single burner stoves, can be found in Khartoum?

if it is C 206 (no thread) you will find it all over Africa. Just look in the plumbers area. Camping is not as popular but soldering lamps ;-)

Aaah, no, it's the thread type. I was hoping some hardware/plumber shack might have them. I don't expect the Western shopping malls etc to have them.

We had the same problem in RIM and we solve it in the following way:

We found a big gas truck that has filling bottles in the street and ask them it they could fill ours.

Since they just use a rubber pipe directly from the truck (!!!) they filled our bottle without any problems right in the spot. Africa way…
