Does anyone ( A.B.most likely ) know how easy it is for a foreigner ( with a work permit ) to buy a bike in Egypt.

I may be going to work in Cairo, but need this info before I commit myself to 12 months bikeless. Thanks

Dead easy. Prices for used bikes are comparable to Europe. I am not a biker though I have a few friends who are and nobody has had a problem buying machines. I know two guys who are looking to sell (Honda 600 and Yamaha Tenere) and I can follow it up for prices if you like?
Your problem will be getting a reliable one. Be careful who you trust.
