Hey there I'm on a trip to west africa with a friend but unfortunately my bike is acting up and I'm in need of some advice. I'm currently in Meknes and I've got a Yamaha Virago XV535 that is not excellerating properly. I have a suspicion that it might be the clutch because it was slipping previously. Now when it does eccellerate it feels like it's lurching and lagging intermittently then it started to get so bad that it struggles to speed up and cuts out if it gets down to first. If anyone on this forum is familiar with the area or could give me advice on a good mechanic or what the problem might be I would really appreciate it.

Welcome to HUBB.
Your local friendly moped shop might be able to help you. I had problems earlier this year in Fez and was surprised at the general expertise of the mechanics. If you can ride the 35 miles to Fez I can recommend Central Moto on Avenue Chefchaouni in the new town, GPS N34 02.512 W4 59.802 I think there's a Yamaha dealer in Casablanca but hopefully you can get sorted locally.
