Border crossing from Algeria to Libya (or vice-versa)
 

I'm planning to visit Djanet region in april-may. Original plan was to go from Tunis to Algerian border and then south....

But now I'm thinking about visiting Libya on the way to Djanet or back and therefore I would like to ask for any info related to border crossing between Algeria and Libya - especially about crossing at Ghadames (Deb-Deb) or even at Ghat.

The info I found so far is that Ghat is closed and that Deb-Deb is open in one direction (from Libya to Algeria) but this was not confirmed.

Any help or info about the current situation would be highly appreciated.
