bicycle question?
 

hiya im going to spain in a couple weeks and ride a bike to africa. the bike i have here in america is like walmart quality w/ one gear, does anyone have suggestions for 18 y/o new to international adventures? should i just take my bike or buy one there? thanks

Yes bring your Walmart special over, i know a guy down in Spain that can weld an engine in to the frame and fit a 35 litre fuel tank, he may even be able to cut you down a set of michelin desert`s.........

Mountain bike`s are pretty cheap down in Spain, save your money for the trip get one there. Have a good trip Skip

Hi mate,
Just buy one over here, Europe is full of bike shops and the Spanish like their bikes as much as anyone. The hassle of taking a push bike on the plane, plus probable excess baggage costs mean bringing a cheap bike over is pointless. :)
