Back from trip
 

I have recently (well almost 2 months ago...) returned from a very enjoyable Sahara/West Africa trip. With our own TLC, we (girlfriend+myself) did the following route: Tunisia - Libya - Niger - Benin - Togo - Ghana - Burkina - Mali - Mauritania - Marokko. We did this in 3.5 months which was quite a lot of driving (22002km) but not really a problem.

In preparing for our trip we were aided greatly by the information that can be found on this wonderful forum. I would like to repay the favour and plan to post some small 'reports' about specific parts of the trip in a number of separate threads. Should you however have (general) questions, feel free to post them here or send me a PM.

welcome back where you planning next..? any useful GPS points i can crib from you we're off in june through west africa and onto south africa then to australia
