Atlantic route to Bamako and Sell car
hi all...have been lurking here for a while , bought Chris's books and have hatched a cunning plan ...I know these questions have been asked before but I have searched right through the archives and theres not a great deal of up to date info about it .
I have a dream ..to buy a LHD Diesel HJ60/61 Toyota Land cruiser from France then drive it down to Mali to sell , has anyone done this lately and is the market still good enough for this to make it worthwhile ?..I dont really want to make any profit out of it ..just like the idea of doing the trip for a purpose I have found a few around the 4000-5000 euro mark in france some cheaper others more expensive anyone any thoughts on the best options ? I know there will be hassles in selling but kind of think thats part of the fun ! also are there any issues in getting back out of Mali having sold the car ? thanks in advance for any help Pedro |

No problem
Problems are not present: restrictions on sale of cars in Mali foreigners are absent

That was a bit difficult to understand. Infact, I did not understand it at all.

You can sell the car in Bamako and fly out. Maybe change the CFA before!
