Hi everyone. Can someone please help my confusion!

Is it possible to travel in the north of Algeria with a motorcycle without a guide?

If so, to get a visa must you use an agency (for the invitation), which then enables you to apply for a visa at the embassy in London?

Any help / advise much appreciated!

This guy managed recently, but it can depend on your nationality. One or two others have managed in recent years.

But I think he used a private individual, not an agency to get a visa.
Agencies sell tours which cover the 'invite' aspect.

Alg consulate in London is getting stickier with visas now... but that is more for the south (where you cant get away without a guide).
