2 1/2 weeks in Morocco off road suggested routes

Ok so for a first visit to Morocco and with about 2 & 1/2 weeks in the country where should we go - what should we not miss out. We would like to do quite a bit of off roading and have a play in some sand dunes and probably visit 1 big city towards the end of the trip.

Obviously we will need to tailor the trip depending on local conditions and how well us and the bikes can travel off road i.e. if we can do some of the more difficult tracks.

But some rough ideas would be great.

Hi
You can have a look to my blog,
Two 400XR in Morocco

There is a map of Morocco with the track done. you can also download the track GPX.
In winter avoid hight Atlas because of snow, in sommer avoid south because hot.

HI,
Morocco is full of places to do offroad tourings. The one you will like the piste around Merzouga, then the piste from Merzouga to Zagoura. Also, the atlas mountains .In case, you do the piste from merzouga to zagoura ,do not hesitate to stop for a cup of tea in our camp in the north of the remlia village.Have a look at our homepage at Welcome To Aghbalou Ramlia Auberge
enjoy your time in Morocco

Do a Google search on Dades Valley. Looks good. Never been, but going soon.

I would also reccommend following the dry river south of Foum Zguid (not the regular piste road marked on the Michelin map, it runs sort of parallel a bit further south than that) and cut accross Lac Iriki to the Oued Draa and over to Mhamid - plenty of big dunes out there if you want them, or you can skirt around as required...

Thanks for the replies - keep them coming.

If you were to visit 1 city which one would it be?
