I don't know about the Morocco visa re-entry, but I stayed at the Hotel Universal. 40 Euro, OK room, safe parking, both for cars or motorcycles and a good breakfast. If you come from the Morocco border it will be some 500-1000 meters from there, if I remember correct. It's easy to see it on your left hand when heading for Ceuta.

Morocco and back in one day

Yes made it through Ceuta, they were unhappy for me to reenter after 3 months in morocco but then went to Algeciras then to Tanger with no problems. Except the cost of the ferries!!!!!

Unless you go south this is the only way to get to stay in Morocco past the 3 month initial tourist visa. As a Brit!

The 'books' all suggest a letter from your embassy (the british embassy were no help at all suggesting some passes back through immediatley and others after a few days) or go to the nearest police headquarters. In my experience this is rubbish and should not be published. THen again you should not always believe what you read!

At Ceuta the 'officials' varied in there 'recommendations': stay out of morocco for 24hrs, 10 days, a month. THat may be true for reentry into the same port but too save money i thought id do it the long way around.

Safe travels

Get another passport
There will be a high chance that you will get another number at entry.

The Spanish Foreign Ministry says that you are allowed to stay in Morocco for 3 months in a year as a tourist, so oficially you are not allowed to exit and reenter without waiting 9 months, but I don't think that they always look at past stamps.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
