Vietnam on a Minsk ?

I've been toying with the idea of touring Vietnam on a Russian Minsk 125 motorcycle.
It sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

I would like to hear from anyone who has toured in Vietnam by Minsk (or other motorcycle).

there is an excellent travelogue called "Sparring with Charlie" by a guy who decided (with no previous experience) to ride the length of the Ho Chi Minh trail.. i forget the author's name, but i'm sure you can find the book somewhere.
BTW, i'll see you there, i'll be there this fall...

I tried ordering it for $12.99 from amazon.com, but it is out of print and they have no copies left.

I then searched on the Internet and found this place:

They've copies for just $4.99 US plus shipping. I ordered a copy on Tuesday PM and received an e-mail back Thursday AM seeing the book has shipped.

I'll report back in a week or two once I get the book.
