Using US rented motorbikes in Canada
 

Hi guys,

As a follow-up to the post about the LA-NY trip, does anyone know what are the restrictions on taking Eaglerider rented motorcycles into Canada? We are travelling between Chicago and Niagara Falls in early Sept and wish to now go via Detroit in Michagan and travel onto the Falls via the state of Ontario.

Are there any restrictions on using US hired bikes through Canada for this 200 mile section or is this something to clear up with Eaglerider themselves?

It all depends on Eaglerider's insurance, and their policies re crossing the border. Usually with rentals you can't cross a border unless you arrange in advance.

Shouldn't be a problem.
