UK to Japan via the South...
Hey all just wondering:
1. Is this possable? Ive heard for some reason u cant go this way and have been advised to go through russia. But as Iam determined to go south eg. through turkey, saudi, india, napal ect. so question 2 is: Can anyone recommend places to visit have have to be seen!? thanks!

Saudi I think not, but you can go through Iran, if the Yanks don't start bombing before you want to go. (In fact, I believe we will be able to go through even after the bombing. I crossed during the war without problems.)
If you can't get an Iranian visa then you can go via UAE and take a dhow to Karachi. At some point you have a rather large expanse of water to cross and ad that point you will have to fly your bike. I think that is why people may say you have to go via Russia (there is a ferry to Japan). Take a look at some maps and chack out the shipping links on the left.
