UK to Cape Town Autumn 2011
Hi, I need some help planning my route.
I estimate leaving UK in October. Is 9 weeks to complete this a pipe dream? I'm not interested in big cities. I'm riding a KTM 990Adv. I have travelled to Africa 5 times previously but never smashing borders on a bike. I'm in my infancy of trip planning and looking for any route advice and tips. thanks

Hi,
For me 9 weeks havnt even been enouth to get my visum for angola. Also if you are more lucky then i was you have to travel very fast and will not have much time to realy experience africa but there are people who have even done it in less time. Travel save, Tobi Riding the rough west coast through Africa part 3

Which side ??
Took me three weeks just to get out of Egypt with trying to get visas etc !! Even if you had all visas in advance, that is going to be brutal and probably not much fun. People do the east coast in 12 weeks and that's powering it...
