U.S. to Belize
 

Hi all, great site! loads of info.

I'm planning trip from u.s. border to belize and was wondering if anyone has any advice as far as routes, roads (preferrably trails, we want as much off road as possible), local customs, paperwork, etc.

It'll be myself and one other, and we're up for most anythings to offer.

Just spent a month in Mexico, though I don't have a map in front of me. For starters you must do the road from Mazatlan to Durango, it is paved but incredible. There are also some spectacult dirt roads south of Durango. Are you planning on doing Baja too? Lots of recommendations there. Let me know and I can provide more.
