Two days in Kuala Lumpur
 

Hi All,

I have two days in Kuala Lumpur next week (going from Australia to the US) and was tossing up the idea of hiring a bike and getting out for a one or two day ride.

I'm wondering if anyone has good suggestions on:
(a) Where to hire a bike
(b) What rides are out there for a relatively inexperienced (but enthusiastic) rider?

I've been to Malaysia a dozen times and I really don't really know where you'd hire a bike in KL. Bike hire is mainly confined to resort areas such as Penang or Langkawi.

Probably your best bet would be Genting /Cameron Highlands. Good riding up in the mountains and I'm fairly sure you can find somewhere to rent.
