Hi Chris
I am from there, so not only am I very jealous, but can give you loads of advice. Instead of my advice, rather take the advice of a good website: http://iafrica.com/highlife/goodlife/wine/ Don't get too drunk while driving! Sorry I am a bit late. If you come again I can help.
I live in Cape Town (Durbanville) an can give you a lot of advice of were to go and what to see. I do a lot of mountain biking and know of some not so familiar places (camp sights) to visit. I have done some hikes in and around the Western Cape and can recommend some of them. There is a lot of 4x4 driving routs in the area for the 4 wheel enthusiasts. Happy wheeling ------------------ MeTeMaR
