Question Texas --> Costa Rica

Hello,
I am going to Costa Rica in june and was wondering if any of you has already been there and therefore can suggest places to stay (hotels) and Routes.
I am interested in both the Belize to Costa rica route and the Costa rica to Mexico route for when I came back.

I have around a week from Belize to Costa Rica and another from Costa Rica to Mexico..

Cheers

Alberto

Which of the two land borders are you referring to?

Where, What

Buy a guide book, decent map, dream a little bit, and play around on the Internet.

Not sure what you are saying here. In 2003, I went into Belize from Chetumal, around Belize for a few days then into Guat at Mencos. Great trip. Didn't see any bandits (unless you are talking about the "helpers" and "money changers"). :=) Border crossings were very easy and fast. I am heading down again in October and plan to use some of those border crossings again as well.
