tanzania - uganda to mwanza lake victoria west route
anyone info on this road from uganda west round lake victoria south to mwanza. nobody seems to be going this way - why? any info appreciated

We are taking 3 Dakar's to East Africa in Feb 2010 to ride round lake Victoria. Route will be Mombassa Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, N Tanzania, back into Kenya. I need some advice on the N Tanzania leg of the trip. Want to minimise miles to Arusha from N Tanzania. Do you know anyone who has done this Victoria Circuit who may be able to advise. We only have 3 weeks in country so route planning is key. Any help appreciated. Martin
