South America Driving Maps
Has anyone ever ordered maps for central and south america from
http://www.adventuretrek.com/drive.htm It is $150 for a complete central/south america package. There isn't much info on the maps and I am wondering if they are any good.... Ohh, and I am interested in bringing a gps with me. Is there any map software that has major highways and cities for central/south america? This would be nice to navigate larger cities. Thanks Jared |

Jared,
I too am looking for maps of Central and South America, did you purchase these maps (or any other) maps? How are they? Let me know if you have any input at all. -Jared |

Try www.touratech.com for GPS software and maps. Or maybe www.daerr.de
The latter might only be in German. In Chile the fuel company COPEC sells ver good maps "Rutas de Chile". Unfortunately only covers Chile - Argentina is Terra Incognito to them. Hans
