Shipping a bike from west to southern africa?

I am planning a trip from Belgium to south africa, but I do not want to go through Angola, I heard it still isn't very safe there.

From which west african country (Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon ...) is it easy to ship two motorcycles to Namibia or SA?
How much does it cost and how long does it take?

Al tips are welcome ...

I almost shipped my bike from Libreville, Gabon to Johannesburg. But then I decided to go overland. Can be done!
There are two flights a week from Libreville to Johannesburg with Air Gabon. One is a 747. Shipping the bike will cost you about US$500. They will do it. Just go to the Libreville airport. They will strap bike on a pallet. No crating needed. At least that what they told me, when I asked them in December, 2000.
Gabon is one of the savest countries in this neck of the woods. Get a nice hotel and enjoy the place.
