Route verification

Hi all,

We're planning a trip through asia.
We have a rough plan and I would like a verification from the more experienced folks on this site.

The plan would be as follows:
1st August - 20th August : Turkey
21st August - 15th September: Iran
16th September - 1st October: Pakistan
2nd October - 15th November: India
16th November - 1st December: Nepal
2nd December - February: Thailand (with some trips to Vietnam, laos)

Of course nothing is written in stone, the schedule is just tentative.
Do you think this would be feasible, from the point of view of weather, time spent in each country etc ?

Please chime in...

Thanks,

Sounds good

Hi

We did this same route 18 months ago. Some advice:

Turkey: We were surprised at just how big turkey is. Don't rush through as its a great place.

Iran: Again very big but we did 2 1/2 weeks

Pakistan: Spent 3 weeks here. Weather will be cold at night but otherwise warm.

India: If you can spend more time here. We had 8 months here but wished we could have stayed longer.

Remember that it always take to get where your heading then you think!!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.
In what month did you start ?
I'm a little concerned that turkey in august might be very hot.

Regarding the schedule, I would like to try the KKH or the Manali-Leh road that's why we "compressed" the turkey and iran legs.
It might be too late anyway for the mountains...one thing is for sure, we won't be in a rush :-)
