Well, remains only to wish you good luck and that you won't miss out the fuel stations while you're zooming past to be able to stick to youre timetable ;-) I suppose Jules Verne has inspired you - In 80 days around the world?

Good luck!

Having read the book and seen the DVD's it will be one heck of a journey -the very best of luck.

Did New York to London in 02, but not quite the route you are taking. However, life changing as I now live in Aus and not the UK.

Have a fabulous trip - not jealous ............... honest!! :innocent:

RTW from Iceland

What's the distance across Iceland compared to the distance around the world you will be ridding. If you swing a little south you can stay in my indian Ti Pi in Helena Montana USA.

Good luck! 3 months seems a little fast but LWR did it in 115 days so why not. As I remember from the LWR series the worst problem they faced was taken the Road of Bones to early when many rivers where still too high to cross by bike. How does your time schedule fit the this?

"Now we have a problem. It looks like that we cannot ride to Magadan, and therefore .... <snipped>.... from there ! So we have to put a plan B ......"

I may not be in a position to say this but a trip of this nature may require up to a plan E. And if indeed plan E fails, just ride.... enjoy the wind blowing on your face..... You don't have to prove anything.

Good Luck, Sverrir! I am following you on this trip and wish you would make it!!:thumbup1:

up to Z

It's a good thing the alfabeth goes all the way to Z. And if that is not enaugh you can always skip to the chineese characters.

But I am sure you ment to say: 3 years. And even that is quit fast.

Have fun out there!

This should be interesting. At least there is a continous road through Russia east to west which has heaps of second hand Jap cars going along it. Think it takes them a week or 2 to get to Moscow.
