Road from Chita, whats it like
 

Hi

Looking at the road in Chita, moving in an Easterly direction and heading to Vladivostok.

The road seems to disappear from my maps... is it track from then on ??

The road is good, was still gravel when we rode it about 5 years back but nowadays it's paved all the way to Vlad.

Rode it last year and it was 99.99% tarmac, no problems with petrol and noticed a few new places being built for food fuel and sleeping, easy road any bike can do it , it's even on google now

Looking on Google maps it looks like its just tracks... however, TonyP's atlas looks like proper roads :clap:

Why is it that Russia really worries me ??? I have done quite a few trips but for some reason I have a horrible feeling I will get well and truely lost in Russia .....
