ok rtw plan is coming along....

ok so got a rough idea of a RTW route i want to take

starting in england, across through france, belguim, germany, slovakia, ukraine to moscow

then on either through kazakstan or just keep goin through russia to mongolia, round mongolia and out the other side towards chita, then on round to vladistock

from vladistock to japan by ferry and hopfully down to thailand and malasia with a plane/boat, then from singapour boat/plane to darwin, down the east coast of australia to sydny, then maybe over to new zealand and then boat/plane upto hopfully seattle in usa or similar north western edge of usa, upto canada vancover, round a few places in usa and down to florida or somewhere similar on the south west of usa, then boat/plane over to nambia,

round to south africa then up through zimbabwe, zambia, malawi, tanzania then into kenya

from where we would like to get over to india via boat/plane

through india upto nepal, then back through pakistan, iran, turkey, greece and then back up the balktic coast line, through the alps and home again

looking at taking around a year to a year and a half, will be traveling my motorbike with probly just me and one friend on another bike

would just like the view of if this route is realistic or not, and any other advice on places to go along the way or places to avoid

will be getting a map of route done which i will post up aswell incase im not that clear in my description

thanks

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
