Northern Greece
 

Hello All, Never been disappointed with this web site before and no reason to suggest that I wont be this time. Got one week to kill in Northern Greece arriving in Igoumenitsa Jily 30 before meeting friends in athens. The monasteries of Meteora are a must but after that im afraid im very much at a loss. Had originally planned to cross to Port Said but no ferries running. Any advice, mountain passes and historic sites also good biking roads. Travelling alone.
Useful web addresses also appreciated, the only ones i seem to locate are comercially geared to hotels and the like. I hope to camp.

From Meteora, why not head via back roads to Mt Olympus. Nice roads, views, maybe do some walking when you're there.
