No Right hand drive allowed in Dubai?
 

Is this correct.
If you have a right hand drive car, and wish to travel through Dubai, does your vehicle have to be on a trailer?

Simple yes or no is good enough, or perhaps there are other reasons.

If it's only Dubai then you don't need to worry, as you will be entering the UAE via another border.

This question has recently been asked about Oman and it seems that Oman in fact doesn't allow rhd cars, but nobody has actually tried it.

Some guy on another forum was wanting to drive from Cape town to Saudi.
he got told NO RHD ALLOWED IN SAUDI, EXCEPT ON TRAILER.
I was questioning it.
he might have been heading for Mecca.
But then I have known about a guy who did drive to Mecca.
Took a Nissan Sani, 3L V6, took the family, for their celebration thing with Islam.
