Has anyone on a British passport - been issued an Iranian visa since Dec 1st ?

I'm wondering if I can get a Visa in Dubai prior to catching the ferry.

We were looking into this for a possible trip my other half is doing, we were told by a Iranian agent that it might be possible to get a visa, she's not officially heard its 100% impossible for Brits to get one. This was 2 days ago.

So you may get one, you may not!!

Looks possible

I just heard back from an Iranian Visa service and they say
Greetings from Tehran and merry Christmas.
Yes, you can get an Iranian visa.
We have had many UK passport holders who have got Iranian visas after the
recent political problems between the two countries.

Regards,
Sarah
So on that positive Xmas note.... I'll keep on planning to go via Iran....

Hi

I have just spoken to a helpful lady at The Visa Machine

(not trying to sell you anything by the way) and she said they were having a meeting with Iranian officials end of next week to find out whether the Iranian Embassy will be re-opening or whether Brits and british travel companies will be able to use an embassy in Western Europe, so in a week or twos time, all will become much more clear....

...as long as there is no more diplomatic ding-dongs in the mean time!

Take care, have fun

Fern

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
