Cost of Diesel per country in Africa?
Hi, We're currently on an overland trip to Cape Town (Sudan - Ethiopia - Kenya - Tanz - Malawi - Zambia - Zim - Namibia - SA) and are trying to work out diesel costs, does anyone know where we can find these? Or know any prices themselves??
Cheers

I don't know the price off the top of my head, but when I was in Malawi the price for petrol was about what you'd pay in the UK and diesel wasn't much cheaper. Malawi doesn't have the forex to pay for good outside the country so they quite often have fuel shortages of one kind or another, not both at the same time though, strangely enough.
Didn't go there myself but I've heard that Zim has quite high prices compared to the rest of the region.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
