Mozambique route to Southafrica crossing Pafuri
 

Hi, all. I am in Vilanculos right now. I'd like to know if someone has done the route to SA going west from Mapinhane , Mabote, Machalla, Sao Jorge de Limpopo and Pafuri. I know 4x4 can do it, but I need to know how about a motorcycle.

1) is it possible to cross the Limpopo river?

2) is it possible to avoid going into Kruger Park? Motorcycles are not allowed there.

3) If that route is not an option, does anyone know another different way than Maputo Corridor Highway and Ressano Garcia border and the Swaziland one?

The only other option I can give you is to continue south along the coast line intil you get to the very most souther part of Mozambique. There is a border into Sa. It is the Kosi bay border. From there you will go down south for about 50-70km then you get Sodwana bay. The R22 stops/starts there. From there you will be able to find a good route to where you want to go.
