Mexico Must See Places?

Anyone have a list of Mexico must see places? My trip will start in September and I'm open to suggestions of where to go, what to do, what to see.

Cheers

For me, the highlight of my travels in Mexico was Chiapas, the southernmost state. I really enjoyed the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas: a colonial city high in the hills, surrounded by pine forest. About 20% of the population is indigenous, and there is plenty to see and do in the area. You can do a side-trip to the ruins of Palenque, about 4 hours away. Magnificent stoneworks and pyramids - well worth a visit.

Chiapas!

Spent 3 years in Chiapas and you MUST NOT MISS:

AGUAS AZULES
PALENQUE RUINS

They are only abour 2 hours apart on the same road. And of course: San Cristobal de las Casas! Did you know it was the capital of all Central America at that time??

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
