Map - Fairbanks to Deadhorse (yes one road)
 

Hi All,

I am traveling to Deadhorse in 2010, I have been to Auto Club, Web sites and recieved maps from Alaska. I would like to know where to get a detailed map of the "Haul Road". I have winter to study it and then make notes to stop and see different spots along the road. I know the road is "in and back", but there is Hot Springs ect to stop and look at. Wiseman, I suggest you consider a stay at Boreal Lodging instead of staying in Coldfoot. Wiseman is "Alaska bush subsistance lifestyle" town, instead of "Haul Road industrial" in Coldfoot. No gas in Wiseman when I was there - get gas in Coldfoot.

It's hard to miss things on your way north. There are no significant spur roads off the Dalton that you can take.

We had quite the meal at Deadhorse. Huge spread, smorgasborg style. As far as I could figure, anything you wanted to eat was there on the table. One fee for all you can eat.
