Luxor to Cairo and back on hired bikes
Hi,
So, what we want to do is to fly to Luxor, hire two bikes, drive alongside the Nile to Cairo and come back with the bikes on the overnight train. Can it be done? I've travelled extensivly in Egypt so I know the problems of paperwork etc. I've also hired bikes for 48hr to pootle round the monuments in Luxor. So I know it could be done but I worry we might struggle on 125's from China. Does anyone know where I can hire 2 bikes or perhaps we could do it the other way round and go from Cairo to Luxor? Can we take bikes on the train? Of course we could ride back down the other side of the river. Any ideas?? Cheers in advance. Ben Leeke |
