lads weekend to ireland

Looking for some help or advice for a four day tour over to Northern Ireland / Southern Ireland. There are going to be approximately six of us going and are wanting to start off by riding the antrim coast with a stopover in portrush for the night. We know a very good pub we would like to visit, it would be rude not to, would it not !!! After that we are not sure where to go or to stay, we are looking to stay in b&bs or hotels preferably and depending on the pubs will depend on the amount of riding that we will be willing to do, as you can probably gather this is more of a ' lads ' long weekend away rather than some serious biking trip but any advice of where to stay/go/drink would be very much appreciated. cheers.

hi salty!

the ring of kerry is worth seeing - if the weather is kind... (in the far south-east) i planned a trip to ireland (the place of my birth) which i never pulled off, but i was going to go to galway - lots of great pubs, music, scenery, etc.

have a good one!

Highest Pub in Ireland

Hi There,
When I did a very brief tour of Ireland I really enjoyed my stop at the highest pub in Ireland. Johnnies Fox's.

I'm not a biker, but from memory I reckon there was some nice biking around those parts anyhow. It's only an hour or so from Dublin.

Funnily enough, the seafood was great there. strange for the highest pub in Ireland.

Its very touristy, and not a hidden gem, but I thought well worth a visit.
