India - Nepal - Bhutan

I was hoping to take a bike through India, Nepal, and Bhutan. My head is in a whirlwind looking at different guides etc... I am lost when it comes to carnettes etc... Is it possible to do, without being a citizen of any of these countries?
All of the tours I have seen are way out of my price range. My hope is to do this trip in one direction, and head through China afterwards by public transport etc... Are there one way rentals? Can I buy a bike and sell it elsewhere? Any suggestions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
-Liam

Hi Liam,

If possible try to enter Nepal from the west, it is beautifull!
We did drive with our own bikes (not rented) but perhaps you find some info or insperation on our website: Going East - Home

If you are on a budget you may have to discount Butan. I worked with someone who's old teacher is the Butanese embassador for the UK. After several conversation it was determined that there is no cheap way.

The cost is roughly $250 a day which included everything while in Butan. There is no way to lower that cost even if you have your own vehicle, it seems to be a flat rate all tourists have to pay.
