dirt roads and tracks in Scandivia / Russia ?
Planning to ride around the Baltic Sea in September of this year.
We hope to ride as much as possible on dirt, gravel roads or tracks. We are not afraid of remote areas. Is this legal in Scandinavia? Who knows about any of these tracks in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia? Any tracklogs or waypoints are very welcome. Or just a description where to find them. Wich maps would be suitable to put the route together? Wich places should we absolutly put on our route? The most Northern point of the route will be Murmansk. What would be the best place to cross the border between Finland and Russia? And what is preferred: ride it clockwise or counterclockwise? Or is it the same. Any info more then welcome. Here you find a couple of roadbooks and even a roadbookeditor with you need to open some of the roadbooks. I did these roadbooks last september. I couldn't find any GPS info for these tours, so I couldn't find the start of every roadbook. On http://usr.cc you will find also tours in Norway. Freek
