dakar to accra
 

Hey everyone,
We are planning a trip through west africa, starting in November 2010. By Feb 2011, we want to be riding from Dakar, through Sierra Leone and on along the coast through the Ivory Coast and Liberia to Accra, from where we want to ship our bikes back to Australia - keep e-mailing companies, but dont get many answers back....
Has anyone travelled through these countries recently? Oct 2009 Lonely Planet guide suggests it shouldnt be a problem if avoiding certain areas... ?
Any idea how long to allow for this section of the trip?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
