Cape Town to Morocco - Leaving April '08 - Am I crazy?
Hi all,
I'm planning on riding an F650 from Cape Town to Morocco over ~5 months, leaving in April 2008. At this right, I'm smack dab in the middle of Cameroon/Congo during rainy season. Am I crazy, or will I be able to find a route through the mud? I'm not adverse to changing my trip/route, either avoiding impassable roads or changing my trip completely (i.e. going the Eastern route). This will be my first major motorcycle trip, though I am an experienced traveler across most of Central/South America and Asia, and perfectly comfortable in not-so-comfortable areas and weather. Thoughts? |

Hi mblevin,
I am planning a very similar journey for next year, Cape Town to Morocco. Was wondering if you had any tips on time of year, routes, cost etc... Cheers, spinosaurus7 |
