Belize-Honduras ferry

Does anybody know if the boat from Placencia, Belize to Puerto Cortes, Honduras is a vehicle ferry capable of taking motorbikes?

Hi Arne,

I searched on the web and came across a
traveller's report from 1999 and there is
a picture of the boat making the trip from
Placencia to Honduras (the Gulf Cruza).
This is also the boat referred to in the Rough Guide to Central America (US$50 for a 4 hour trip), and by looking at the picture it doesn't seem that the boat is a vehicle ferry. Have a look (down the page)

Nope, sure doesn't look like it'll work. There's three KLRs and it looks from the pic like there's no way. Thanks a lot for the info.
