Beartooth pass Yellowstone Park USA

I was wandering back from the Buena Vista travelers meeting and checked out the beartooth pass on the edge of yellowstone park in wyoming USA. The press has said that it is closed for the summer because of rockslides and missing road. This kind of bothered me because the top of the pass is a check point on the montana grand tour I am putting on this summer. The road sign says road closed 29 miles ahead. This is a good thing. The road on sunday afternoon was lightly travelled, the switchbacks around mountain lakes fast and bumpy, the top of the world store-cabins-gas was open and the scenery was awsome. Understand this is after spending several days riding in central colorado rockies surrounded by 4500 meter peaks. Don't miss Beartooth pass!!!!
