Aswan to Wadi Halfa Ferry
 

Hi All,

Does anyone have any updates on the ferry from Aswan to Wadi Halfa? What day of the week does it leave and what the cost is?

Every monday. Don't know exact prices. I thought about 2.500LE for the car and about 250LE per person. Depends on how many cars are sailing on the barge. We are going that way soon. Probably try to take the barge of 7th of january, maybe 14th.

Lots of people in Egypt waiting to take the ferry (was not sailing because of holidays last month).

Also we will be hiring a vehicle barge around the 22nd May from Aswan to Wadhi Halfa anybody interested in sharing the costs please drop me an email on info@odysseyoverland.co.uk. Will have space for bikes and cars as we will only be putting on one overland truck. Cheers Pete
